Old Father Time has purchased tens of thousands of vintage Accutron repair parts from Bulova over the last 18 years, so we stock most anything necessary for all the 214 and 218 models. Coils, however, are in very short supply and may be recommended only when full restoration, (both cosmetic as well as mechanical), is requested. We employ a full staff of watchmakers, each of whom is a highly skilled and Certified or Master watchmaking professional. All have received specific Accutron repair training from a Bulova Corp. watchmaking instructor. In addition, it's mandated that each of our watchmakers attend continuing education classes either at AWCI or WOSTEP in Switzerland. This is essential in staying abreast of new technologies and advances in the field.

Accutron Packing & Shipping
Pack your watch in a box that's approximately 10" X 7" X 4" in size, (similar to a shoe box) or one large enough that it can't be easily lost by the carrier. We recommend wrapping the item in bubble-wrap, and then packing in styrofoam peanuts or void air bags, but we've also received a nice collection of socks and kitchen towels as packing material.

Shipping Accutron Watches
We recommend using USPS Registered Mail, Insured. FedEx, UPS & Airborne limit insurance to $500 for jewelry items.
*Make no reference to the contents on the outside of the package. Our address label, at the bottom of the Accutron Mail-In Repair Form, may be used for Registered Mail only. Shortly after your package arrives, we'll notify you with a detailed estimate for repair. We'll then wait for your approval before proceeding.

Package carefully, but Use only packing that can be discarded. Don't send original
Manufacturer Display boxes or material.

Repair Estimates
Our Estimate is FREE if we perform the repairs to your watch. If, after obtaining our detailed estimate by email, you decide not to have the repairs performed, our $65 estimate fee covers return shipping and insurance by Federal Express, the watchmaker's time in evaluating your watch and the written estimate.
